Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen has hailed the announcement in today’s Budget that the redevelopment of Darlington railway station will be approved and as a massive step forward for Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool.

Following a heroic effort by Eastern Airways to get a new booking system up and running following the collapse of Flybe, passengers will once again be able to book flights from Teesside International Airport from 10am tomorrow (7th March).
Following discussions with Eastern Airways this morning, Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen has announced that he has secured an agreement with the airline that will see all Flybe bookings from Teesside International Airport honoured.
